Event marketing with a twist…

Contemporary & Modern Art, Bespoke Cars and Fine Wines… makes for a great event right?

On behalf of one of our clients, Collect Art Gallery, we have recently been working with the world’s leading creator of bespoke Range Rover vehicles, Overfinch, to host and market a special ‘invite only’ event, bringing VIP guests together for an evening of fun, laughter and networking.

The event was held at the Overfinch showroom in Knutsford where a couple of brand new specs of bespoke vehicles were showcased, alongside a dozen pieces of prestige paintings from well-known UK artists such as Theodore Major, Geoffrey Key (who attended himself) and even Banksy!

Guests were greeted with a glass of fine wine provided and served by Morgan Edwards, an independent specialist wine merchant based in Knutsford. They were also treated to a range of delicious canapes made and served by Chef Aiden Byrne, owner of The Church Green in Lymm.

With it being an ‘invite only’ event, we needed to market the evening ‘behind closed doors’, creating a formal VIP invitation that would appeal to specific individuals who would bring attentiveness and great networking opportunities to all three brands.

Overfinch had certain guidelines that needed to be followed too, so we had to work collectively with the Overfinch marketing team to ensure we were in compliance with their policies. We think we did a fabulous job (as you can see in the image above right) hosting an enjoyable evening for everyone who attended.

Post event, the marketing strategy didn’t stop there. Working with Cheshire Living, we had an article published in their January/February digital and hardcopy issue about the event (page 113) and the Knutsford Guardian published an article online and on paper. And of course we get to use this case study to approach other relevant businesses to collaborate with them on behalf of Collect Art for future events.

Event marketing is one of the services we offer at Core Social. If you have an event coming up and would like to have a chat about what we can do for you and your brand, please feel free to contact us!
